This fall break has been like no other. The only break I had was two days from school. I still had a regular football schedule. Thursday I had practice from like 9:30-10:45 and Friday I had a football game. I'm not sure if I like having football during fall break, but I will have to get used to it, because this will be the same for the next four years of my life.
Usually during fall break my dad takes my brothers and me to our ranch in Texas. My brothers typically like to hunt during this time of year, but I am not as enthusiastic due to the Texas heat. El Tesoro, our family ranch, is a safe haven for me. I can go there without worrying about anything and can do just about anything I want. When I am there during fall break it is time to relax and just enjoy life. I wish this year I had that opportunity, but I shouldn't frown, because I will be there for thanksgiving.
