Response of Louisiana article
I believe that blaming the Great flood of 2016 on climate change is crazy. We have no factual evidence that climate change caused this flood. Just because there was a 0.1 percent chance of this flood happening does not mean that climate change is responsible. I don't even think that rebuilding Louisiana should even be a question. Of course we should! Louisiana is a state defined by it's people and is so culturally diverse. The people here are of like people you have never met. There is only one word that describes us "Louisianans". But then again it is the choice of the people to come back, and I know some people might not, because of the situation we they are in. I think this is a ver broad question, because ut could be talking about re-building Louisiana financially, socially, and physically. I agree that this state needs a lot of work, but the people here always find a way.

I agree completely. We are "Louisianians" and should not have to change that.
ReplyDeleteNicely written blog, Lane. I agree that we will find a way to rebuild.
